The Missions section. Here you will find descriptions of each of the exploration missions and details about the current status of each one. There are 7 exploration missions, which are located across the galaxy and known as the BNE Site, Site A, B, C, D, E and F. New sites may become active and existing sites may become inactive as members come and go.

STATUS.

STATS:

ONGOING - Admiral ADM Infwhale - The Inflated Whale. A DSSA FC is nearby at the NGC 3199 Nebula. Only ADM Infwhale is performing mapping activites at this time.

NSP mapping began in March 3306. Activities paused in March 3307 and resumed in May 3308. Results of NSP mapping to date can be viewed in the excel google sheet. This can be summerized as follows: NEW Discoveries - 3 (Likely Game Bugs) Known Systems containing NSP sites - 6,226 Known NSP Sites - 11,519 Known Life - Bullet molluscs. All crystal types. All langrange clouds except Storm types and all known Mineral Sphere types.

STATS:

ON HOLD - FC - None on site. First scouted in February 3307. Coordinated mapping activites have stopped for the moment. A new expedition will be announced when we’re ready. Note - Not expecting many more NSP finds here.

Results of NSP mapping to date can be viewed in the excel google sheet linked above. This can be summerized as follows: NEW Discoveries - 1 - Flavum Torus Molluscs Known Systems containing NSP sites - 82 Known NSP Sites - 162 Known Life - Torus molluscs. Metallic crystals. Proto langrange clouds NSP’s mainly in White dwarf systems and in planet rings. Calcite plates are also found in these NSP sites.

STATS:

ON-HOLD - FC - None on site. First visited in February 3306. No coordinated mapping activites are underway. A none BNE CMDR is mapping the area. The Site is to be revisited but appears to be two overlapping spheres. Note - Expecting lots more NSP sites to be mapped.

Results of NSP mapping to date can be viewed in the excel google sheet. This can be summerized as follows: NEW Discoveries - 0 Known Systems containing NSP sites - 226 Known NSP Sites - 395 Known Life - 1 pod type lifeform. All crystal types. No lagrange clouds, sites are mainly in free space or in planet rings.

IN PROGRESS - FC - BaTLeStar Banana. The first NSP mapping mission began on 22 Feb 3308 with 4 interpid CMDR’s. 1 remains currently on site and a strategic planned mapping effort is underway. Notes! NSP seem to spawn in high mass systems. Unscanable crystals can be found here.

Known Systems containing NSP sites - 225 Known NSP Sites - 119 Known Life - Chalice Pods, Proto lagrange clouds, Sites in gas giant rings. Ice and Silicate crystals. Unscanable crystals are often reported at this site. Site split into 2 areas. Watch this space and check the google sheet for latest counts!

ON-HOLD - Scouting began in March, by CMDR Darthwilhelm. The expedition to site began on the 2nd April 3307. After checking out a potential Site F, we stopped over near Sag A and then took the final leg to arrive on the 8th of April 3308. Mapping was put on hold in June 3308 though a good idea of shape was determined.

Known Systems containing NSP sites - 724 Known NSP Sites - 1448 Known Life - Squid molluscs. Ice & Silicate crystals. No langrange clouds. NSP are only manifested in planet rings. No metalic crystals. Current estimate is the site is spherical and approx 978ly diameter. Watch this space and check the google sheet for latest counts!

INACTIVE - No FC Site scouting took place in mid June 3307. A brief visit took place in 3309 and we are awaiting resources to begin a full mapping mission.

ON-HOLD- FC - None This is the latest BNE PG expedition. Here 3 FC’s spread out to map 3 seperate locations in search of GYRE Tress and Pods out on the edge of the gallaxy, 22000 ly from the human bubble.

Known Systems containing NSP sites - 23 Known NSP Sites - 38 Known Life - Gyre trees and Pods. Ice & Silicate crystals. Proto langrange clouds and NSP sites in planet rings. Approx 367ly diameter at this early stage. Watch this space and check the google sheet for latest counts!
